I think she is reminding us that we, like the wild geese, are first and foremost animals. We inhabit the same world as other animals and we , like them, should respond to our environment in a natural, animalistic way.

Animals don’t have a concept of right and wrong; they don’t have regrets; they don’t punish themselves for behavior that is in their nature. She is telling us that we should exult in our bodies and not not be ashamed of them.

I need help finding a new barn?
Okay, so I’ve been doing hunters for the last 5 1/2 years of my life, last year I left my old barn took a year off from showing and got my own horse, and now I’m ready to show again. But, there’s a problem! I want to do jumpers and all the freaking barns in a 150 mile radius of my house are hunter barns with -98654385 jumpers. The only barns that do jumpers don’t even go to rated shows, so it’s pretty much pointless. The only three places I could find that did jumpers that could be a possibility had issues.

The first one is right between my mom’s house and my dad’s house and is about an hour away from both. It’s mostly a hunter barn, but they have some jumpers there.

The second one is about 30 mins away from my mom’s house (which is where i stay all week). And has jumpers, but I’m sure they go to very few rated shows and I’m not sre if their instruction is the best quality.

The third barn is like 45 mins away from my dad’s house and the lessons are taught by a grand prix rider, so this barn is nearly all jumpers. I really like it, but the issue there is the ads say that they do trailer in lessons or they come to you if they live in the area (i don’t live near enough to that barn or have a trailer), but they still might have some horses to take lessons on.

Soo, those are my options. LOL and I really don’t want to do hunters again, it’s not my thing.. I want to do medals and jumpers.

My dad called the first place already and left a message, so they’ll probably call back tommarow.

All the good jumper barns are in the northern region of my state. My section is hunters, and the rest of the state is eventers (w/like Karen O’Connor) and some other really good riders.

Oh and my last option is to just register my dad as my trainer and go to all the shows with him. HAHA (just kidding!)

So, please guys, help me out what should I do?!?!

I’m playing Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Rings and I’m barely into the game and I’m to the part where you give Mr. Gamgee the key after he talks to the ringwraith. How do you get past the ringwraith without getting caught no matter where I go I get caught. Please help me get through this and all the way to Rivendell. The answer with the most details and that helps me the most gets 10 points.

I remember having trouble at this part, the only thing i can recommend doing is keeping as high up as you can on the side of the road - and avoid running on the road! jump over fences and stuff rather than using the road, if this doesn’t help try searching for tips on this site, good luck

Is a 2005 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer V8 a good first high school car?
Im a guy, age 15, and Im getting a car next week. Parents tell me to pick an SUV because we dont have any we only have a chevy silverado 2500hd an acura rl and a corvette. so we needed a new family car that would be used for traveling and for me to drive to school and for me iguess. well our price range is 16,000 dolars and i have found many but this car in particualr. i was looking at an 05 Expedition that i wanted but its between these too. are these cars realiable? i dont want it to be a piece of junk and break down all the time. my parents are paying for everything gas insurance and matienece but i will be paying the majority when it comes to the summer time because i will be able to work again but once school starts my parents begin paying again which they dont mind because i have a 4.1 gpa. any suggestions?

Hey,you might want to consider gas mileage.I think the expedition doesn’t get very great mpg.If you want a family suv or that type I think the ford explorer eddie bauer,the mercury mariner/ford escape or the jeep grand cherokee limited would be great choices.I think the grand cherokee limited is better.Most have 4 wheel drive. And are very comfortable(to me).And the limited includes a great sound system,leather,most include a moon roof,and you can get them with like 30,000 miles on your budget!

What do you thin of this so far? First draft..?
For school I’m putting together a short story type thing. I’m going to record myself reading it out and create artwork ect, so it’ll be an audio performance. I’ve posted what I’ve written so far and was just wondering what people’s thoughts on it are? Whatever we write has to be based upon the theme of MEMORY. Thank you!

It felt as if these walls were caving in on me. Four of them, moulding together, working as one to suffocate me. The crystal bubbles emerged from the water in my half empty glass as I tilted it slightly with shaking palms. Although there was no window to allow light of any kind discover the room, the bubbles somehow found a way to cast a silvery shaddow upon the walls. As my eyes caught the mysterious light, it lit up the memory in my mind. Seeping through my sight-scarred eyes, the memory which I’d burried in the perish of my life, was right infront of me. I was suddenly staring into the eyes of demons of my past. I specificly requested a window-less room, so the stranger will not see my face, only hear the trembles of my long-lost voice as I dive into the heart of my past and reveal unto thee the terrors which haunt my every waking hour. Are you sitting comfortably?

-FLASH BACK-

The full moon hovered above my head; it resembled a glitter filled disco ball as it hung within the midnight blue sky, watching tentively over the sleeping world. It wasn’t that late in the evening, just cold, quiet and wintery. The tall, leering streetlamps shone blazes of orange light down on the pathway ahead of me, guiding me forward. The soft scrapes of my boots hitting the pavement echoed throughout the streets, it was so deserted, I was alone. To some, the peace and deadly silent would have been unerving, but I had always felt somewhat safe and content in my own company. Suddenly, the quiet night was interrupted by an almighty
CRASH! (have sound of bins falling, loud noise)
I drew in a sharp, abrrupt icey cold breath as my eyes locked on the alley-opening ahead of me. There was something there. I stood statuesque in the middle of the street, waiting. My heart gave an angelic little bounce as the small, harmless black cat emerged from the opening. It stalked in the shaddows, keeping well away from the light of the streetlamps. Then it was gone, I was alone again. Or so I thought.

My feet carried me a few more steps until I stopped again. Another noise. But this time, it wasn’t a loud, startling noise. It was very, very quiet; almost silent. It sounded like very strained, hoarse breathing. As if someone were struggling to draw a single breath. My eyes searched the darkness,
Aha,
My gaze fell upon a shaddowed figure in the park, a few paces away. At first I didn’t feel anything, but as I found myself getting closer to the figure, I felt a sudden fright pierce my gut. The ‘thing’ looked like a person, crouched in a small ball beside the river which ran calmly through the night.
"Hello?" I asked once, coming to a sudden halt, just inches away from the ‘thing.’ I watched as it’s breathing became more and more intense.
"Are you alright?" The words had barely left my lips before the figure rose from the ground and stood with it’s back to me. I waited, my heart beginning to pick up pace as the ‘thing’ slowly turned to face me. I immediately opened my mouth to scream, but only silence ripped through the air. The person standing before me held my terrified blue eyes with their own. Their mouth quaked and dripped with water from the river, their naked body shaking uncontrolably. I looked, in horror, at myself standing before me.

It was a few long minutes before I could speak.
"You’re me." I breathed, and as I did so, my double said it too. At exactly the same time, in the same terrified tone. We both gasped.

That’s a very powerful and moving piece of writing. Well done! I think with the flashback you need to set the scene a little bit because it seems like she’s happy about something and we don’t know what. If I’m wrong then ignore the previous comment.

High waisted shorts; love them or hate them?
I personally like high waisted shorts, but it depends- I don’t think they look that great with tights xP.. and since it’s winter and I live on the east coast of the US, it’s not really climate appropriate. Would you be willing to wear them in public? If so, with what?

I think a ruffled tee would look cute, maybe a belt to sinch the waist where the shorts meet the shirt and a pair of gladiator sandals. I love the vintage look to them.. <33 Your opinions?
When the weather gets better I will most definitely be wearing mine C: I don’t care what others think of what I wear, if I like it- that’s all that matters. I’m totally into the retro pin up vintage look x)

I really hate the high-waisted shorts, because they make your stomach looks larger than it is, and unless your stomach in concave, it makes you looks pudgey, which is never good…

I think the outfit you described would be SUPER CUTE!
I would soo wear them in public like that:) but not for a couple of months at least because i live in WISCONSIN (brrrrrr)
And i also think you should have a decent (doesn’t have to be stick-skinny) but decent body to pull off high-waisted anything. I don’t mean to offend anyone, but obviously they accentuate your waist, so you should have a smallish waist.. but confidence is even more important esp. with trendy styles like this!

I also picture them being worn with retro-ish hair, like big,loose curls and a headband!
