Taser gun used by Police Officer on 10-year-old girl who 'refused to take shower'?
Would you call out the Police if your 10 year old was behaving badly, and would you give permission for a Taser?
"The officer had been called to the girl’s home in Ozark, Arkansas, by her mother because she was behaving in an unruly manner and refusing to take a shower.
In a report on the incident the officer, Dustin Bradshaw, said the mother gave him permission to use the Taser.
When he arrived, the girl was curled up on the floor, screaming, and resisting as her mother tried to get her in the shower before bed.
"Her mother told me to take her if I needed to," the officer wrote.
The child was "violently kicking and verbally combative" when he tried to take her into custody and she kicked him in the groin.
He then delivered "a very brief drive stun to her back," the report said"

Don’t know what happened to my link, but it is "for real": Hypocrite’s works, so click there. However, the vast majority of the article is covered in my AD.
The link isn’t working and quite honestly i don’t know what to think about this. Allowing a 10 year old to become so disruptive that she could behave in this manner is one thing but then calling out the Police to deal with the result of a lack of parental control is another. I think the officer should have given the mother a verbal kick up the backside and told her not to waste Police time. He should be prosecuted for assault on a minor for using the Tazer.

That’s disgraceful. That police man should be sacked, then shot with a taser. Oh and the mother shuld get shot with a taser too.
BruceLee | Nov 19, 2009
Your link is broken.
That sounds like some kind of freakish exaggeration of a story. I’ve read a number of police abuse stories but that is a little over-the-top even so.
Foremost, nobody should call the police on their child unless the child takes a gun to them. Nevermind, even then they shouldn’t call the police.
Pareidolia | Nov 19, 2009
The phrase "take her" has unpleasant connotations. Maybe he did. It beggars belief that a mother should be so wicked and a police that dumb.
Such incidents do not surprise the world. Hopefully it will explode the myth for some people of a nation that "respects" human rights. Instead of lecturing about human rights to other countries, Hilary Clinton and Pelosi should try to put their house in order. Such hypocrisy does not become preachers.

Don’t see any problem with it. Rancid, filthy, stinky little bitch!
*PLEASE* *PORK* *ME*!*!* | Nov 19, 2009
Do the police in Ozark have very little crime to deal with then?
I would love to hear our cops reaction if I called them cos my child would not shower
The tazering falls in the catagory of child abuse IMO

I see this as parental fear and police overreaction. I mean, there’s something terribly wrong when a parent feels the need to call the police on a child that won’t take a shower. Are they afraid to discipline the kid?
The policeman is a bit ott to say the least. You’d almost think he didn’t know what to do either and just plumped for the treatment he would dish out to a drunk.
Could they not just shut the door and let them cry it out?
Hypocrite - Mwahahaha | Nov 19, 2009
Is this for real?
Apart from that, this is clearly a case of ‘the weapon of last resort’ becoming ‘the weapon of first choice’, which is exactly what happens in every case where law officers are issued with some new toy. This happened with capsicum spray, for which training films were shown where it was only used as a last resort against a threatening attacker - the truth is that it quickly became an everyday thing used whenever a cop felt like it.
I am a firm opponent of over-equipping police with offensive weapons like this. My uncle was a cop for over forty years, and never had the need to use excessive force. He was a strong defender of kids, too.
Too many TV cops these days, and they’ve forgotten what their job is about.

Well if you can’t smack and they act like an animal at that age then they need a little sharp shock no worse than a slap. May stop the child in it’s tracks for something much worse in later life- well that’s my opinion may or may not work!

Even though she was violent and kicked the policeman
I still think it was wrong for the Officer to use a taser.
At the same time, it was bad that the mother
had to call the police.
Mother should have just locked her in until
she calmed down.
But Officer should be prosecuted
Nazeem | Nov 19, 2009
I’ve had my own experience of this sort of thing from a ten tear old, it can depend on the temperament of the child!
But use a electric stun gun, no chance!
I presume it wasn’t actually a taser, that actually fires contacts into the body, using that on a kid would be utterly ridiculous.
Deighton | Nov 19, 2009
Sounds like he got the wrong one with the taser, would have done more good getting the stupid mother, for goodness sake, good parents are a dying breed! (and the police officer should be sacked)

Perhaps now she will do as she is told.

Seems a bit over the top. Wouldn’t a " you’ll not be leaving the house till you’ve had a wash young lady" have done?
Old Boot. | Nov 19, 2009
The mother should be sent to correction centre .
saharaaj | Nov 19, 2009
This woman is no Mother, if she has no control over a ten year old. She should have left her, and said " if you want to stay dirty… well go ahead .. be my guest, and if your School friends tell you that you smell, well that is up to you " Just walk away from it.
lowjoy | Nov 19, 2009
Fucking Ridiculous! Both the mom and the cop…I can’t start to believe this. The poor kid is gonna have major issues when she grows up. The police man should be fucking sent to jail and the girl should be taken from the mother.

Say what you will, but I bet she never throws a fit like that again. No real harm done.

ATS…a good splash of water with a mug by her Mum..would have done the job better and got the little one in the shower quicker..and it would have been fun too.

In the same America a person was put on a police criminal charge for throwing a paper yogurt cup at another person.
America has used extradition rights to arrest a harmless UK computer hacker who entered weak American military computer security looking of UFOs. He was harmless because he left his email address. Gutless UK authorities are going along with this extradition.
There is a very scary side to America

why is every1 saying the policeman was wrong, if the story read "a 24 years old man kicked a policeman in the groin so he tazed them" all you would say is "well what do you expect when you assault a policeman…….assault is assault no matter the age, she clearly meant to kick him in the groin so why should the punishment be any less
